Re: [Chrysler300] 300G Across America - Conclusion

Thanks for the conclusion, Richard. I put your road trip on my toolbar and
checked in as you traveled. After no conclusion for a long time, I wondered
if your health items worsened. Glad to hear that worked out ok.
I have had the same "lights out" occurrence when switching on the hi beams
on my 300C. Surprising---to say the least! Too long ago to remember if I
changed out the dimmer switch or not.
Thank you for a very entertaining journey we all could share and enjoy.
300ly, Gil

Good evening,

Finally, I have added a Conclusion page to my web site. This is a summary of
thoughts and
insights from a journey that will I will not likely duplicate any time soon.

As a reminder of what this is all about, I drove my 300G across country.
Then flew my dad
out to participate in the Cruisin' for a Cure car show in Orange County, CA.
He and I then
drove the car back home to Columbus, OH.

Yes, this happened over a month ago. I had a couple of issues which delayed
my posting
but have since been put to rest. The first involved deep vein blood clots in
my left leg.
Seems my big body didn't like being in a relatively small vehicle for
extended periods of
time. Nothing a couple of visits to the ER and wicked blood thinners
couldn't over come.
Next, I had to rebuild the entire site as I had a computer issue.

The site can be viewed at http://www.dicksrub.com

When I first posted this, I got several questions about navigation through
the site. The
various pages are found by clicking on the phrases below the header Dick and
Richard's
Road Trip. It may take a long time to open.

I hope you enjoy as much as we did. Drop me a note at
reomotorsports1@xxxxxxx, my
zippynet email is acting up a little.

Best regards,

Richard Osborne
