[Chrysler300] 300C Trans paint daubs & Oriflow shocks numbers

1) further few numbers re just asked about cast iron trans numbers
 
trans alloy extension housing cast number:  2   CB25270.  Stamped above that in very small letters 1736377.
 
trans alloy bellhousing has a near vertical light grreen paint swipe  few inches higher than pan rail height, that is just behind, part hidden, by the motor draft/breather tube - Q. is this daub/paint stroke factory for 300C, and/or is it usually over or under the factory silver paint applied to all trans and housing etc?
 
2) Oriflow 300C shockers: all detail (ORIFLOW, MADE IN USA, etc) is stamped
Oriflow Part number - fronts 1673509 date on both 12A6 
PN rears 1736977 date 9B6 on both. Hope this helps re working out when made?
 
ps forgot to add re Aircleaner still on car, that the good news bit, that it is any original 300C one of any type still there/used - bad news bit  - it is bolted to the front radiator support, via usual stay bracket mount, after being cut with what looks like a hacksaw,  about where it would join the flatter part that goes onto neck of carby.  Instead of going onto carb, it connects up to old looking fabric runbberised (steel spiralled outer) large diameter air hose length that feeds into supercharger.
 
Christopher Australia - ad on TV just while ago "buy a new 300C for under $50 grand !??'  Yes you can!!! " etc !!!  All the Chrysler Australia range apparently on special, the 300C price I think at least near $10K-$20K below our normal start sticker/list. Ad looks like it may be same as one running in US, only the US bit, wording, maybe changed to Australia?
