Hi All, Want to share some insight from a seasoned auction dealer I met at Mecum in Kissimmee, Fl. last year. He told me an old saying in the used car business, " There's an ass for every seat" & if your car doesn't sell or get to the desired price it's not because she's not worth it, it's because the right buyer was not there ! I watched a mid line condition 300E sell for $40K because the seller did not set a reserve & my 300K took a $17700 bid which I declined although the history of 300K shows this to be a good offer. Many cars at BJ this year went the way of the economy because the sellers let them for their own reasons, not because our beautiful machines have lost their luster. You can't let one owner who lets his 55 go for low ball & dictate what the rest are worth. Keep the faith & enjoy the cars .
