I thought it telling that when Craig Jackson was interviewed by the Speed Channel announcers shortly before the show went off the air on Sunday, I believe he said that approximately 50 some % of the cars went to new owners which was a higher % than at their last major auction before this one. Seems to me that means that the remaining cars went bought back by the owners. The response by the commentators was that the collector car hobby is still alive & well.
