several people advised me not to try to rebuild it myself / i'm glad i 
took their advice.

jc auto has the whole she-bang for $175 / they even supplied me with 
the little round cover where the coiled gizmo goes.

but i had to get my wife to hold the valve in from the inside while i 
put the screws in from the outside.

so i took her to the crafts store today in the 57 all warm and toasty / 
yahoooooooo

that's one more thing off the list of 10,000 to do's on my 57.

next, who repairs the power window 4 switch switches?
