I think it's alot to do about nothing.... if someone wants to spend his money on whatever smorgasbord of a car it's his own business. A fake has never detracted the value of an authentic object. I've been in the Art business for over 30 years and seen my share of fakes, recreations, copy's or whatever... the bottom line is! It's the people desire that dictates what the market price one will pay for any object, not the scholars or the purists. Misrepresenting is a different legal meter all together. The Auction houses get around it by using "euphemisms". Buyers together with their price guide should have a dictionary handy too, its obvious that you don't need to know English in order to have lots of money.
