Yes, I'll GUARANTEE that the Easy-off will remove the paint !!!?? I use Easy-off to remove paint when I rebuild plastic model cars, and I also use it to remove the anodizing when refinishing aluminum trim pieces. Another idea to remove the bugs from the radiator core is a fine plumber's wire brush. you'll have more control over where it goes than the Easy-off.
