CA

Born/shipped: 3/17/55 (St. Patrick's Day--Thursday's child has far to go)
Delivered at: Lowrey Chrysler Dealership in Roswell, New Mexico
Race:  You bet-bring it on!  A proven winner.
Weight:  4,005-4,340 lbs (depends on wet or dry)

Position in Family:  #198 of 1,725 children that year of mixed colors
(white, black and red--just like us), over 260 surviving--strung out
throughout the world.

Extended Family:  Numerous children and grandchildren, continuing to current
year's crop--some doubt as to future additions.
Father and mother deceased.  Adopted parents are proud of Chrysler's
performance and image over the years.
Accomplishments:  First American child with 300 HP from the factory, fastest
child in USA in year of birth, NASCAR champ in first year of birth.  An icon
since 1955.
Chrysler is in semi-retirement, but does dress up for shows and still has an
attitude and enjoys blowing the doors off of lesser marques.

Future plans:  Mr. Trescientos plans to live forever in fact, in the annals
of history and in the hearts and minds of future admirers.  He hopes the
government of his current state does not chase him down and melt him down
for being an anachronism, an environmental threat and a heavy drinker.
While he does drink a lot when he gets on a toot, he often rides on the
wagon and sometimes stays dormant for weeks on end.  He is often seen on
weekends, basking in the adoring eyes of those that recall him in his
heyday--and in those that have never heard of him but admire his stylin' and
want to learn more about his rich heritage.

Chrysler wishes to give thanks Mr. Gil Cunningham for maintaining and
sharing his heritage, genealogy and birth records; to his long-time parents
Robert and Dorothy Keithley, to his restorers-Tony & Minna Greco of Omaha,
to his present landlords Rich & Ruthanne Barber of Brentwood, CA, and to all
the members of the two clubs that promote and support his legacy, as well as
his current and future condition.
  
Earliest parental records are lost, but Chrysler's current good health and
looks are testimony to early loving care.  Chrysler advises he does not need
Viagra to get up and go!  The Keithleys did make Chrysler work for them
during the 30 years they had custody of him and actually attached a hitch to
him and forced him to pull a trailer around their home in Colorado Springs,
CO.

Unfortunately, Chrysler will spend his birthday in Ward's Auto Hospital in
Oakley, CA where he is undergoing repairs on his middle section to eliminate
an aggravating post-tranny drip of vital red fluid.  He expects to survive
that surgery and looks forward to seeing his many friends on the show
circuit this year.

Chrysler is proud that he has retained most of his original parts, with the
exception of a transplanted F**d starter relay that will soon be replaced
with a donor relay from a deceased brother or cousin.  He is especially
proud of that famous big, toothy grin and he does have new wire laced shoes
from another departed ancestor.  He wishes all his kith and kin throughout
the world best wishes for having a loving caregiver and a dry, warm place to
sleep between races, shows and tours.  He has real concerns over his many
progeny that must sleep outside and asks a moment of silence for the many
that have gone to that great racetrack and salvage and restoration center in
the sky.
