Regarding the original light tan color of the 300C steering wheels, there are two organizations that judge Chrysler 300Cs. Our "300 International" (historically referred to as the "eastern") and the "300 Incorporated" (historically referred to as the "western"). Each club has a head judge that may have to approve the color of a restored steering wheel in a 300C during respective judged events. It would be my suggestion that George Laurie not bring his question of "What is THE original color..." to hundreds of members who are going to supply hundreds of various answers by degree but rather try to get two men, currently Gil Cunningham, Int'l head judge and Gary Goers, Inc head judge to come to agreement on an acceptable color that can be used for the Laurie wheel reconstructions. Discussions toward such an agreement could be foundational for future dialog between these two organizations.
