[Chrysler300] I will try again



The way it is supposed to work.You run the engine,The thermostat is closed until the watter heats up to the value of that unit.It then opens passing hot watter into the radiator,and drawing cool watter into the block, which mixes with the hot watter cooling it down and causing the thermostat to move towards closed.For the system to work you haft to hold the watter in the radiator long enough for it to cool ( this is the the time factor i was referring to) Hope this clears things up.Jim McMullan 300 F
