Subject: [Chrysler300] 1957 Chrysler 300C - Oregonian Newspaper Love Story

  



We have been getting e-mails and telephone calls today regarding our 1957
Chrysler 300 that is in a front page article of the Oregonian Newspaper
along with pictures. We thought we should share the article with Club
members.

Last week we drove our 1957 Chrysler 300C Coupe to Tacoma, Washington to the
Chrysler 300 Club National Car meet. When we stopped in downtown Portland on
the way to Tacoma, two ladies stopped to admire our car and commented on it.
Later we found they worked for the Oregonian newspaper. When we arrived home
on Sunday, we received a call from an Oregonian reporter asking us for an
interview on Tuesday. We said it was ok. We were surprised that it was such
a long article and it appeared on the front page of the paper with a 5 x 7
picture of my wife, Arlys with our 300C, taken September 1958.

In addition to the pictures, comments; there is a two minute video. We have
owned the 1957 Chrysler 300C for 51 years and drove it on our honeymoon in
July 1959.
