Matt abd all,

I replaced the unit on our F with a new one from CarQuest for about $60. It 
fit perfectly and placed the fan about 3/4" from the radiator.

I'd suggest measuring the height or depth of you present unit as well as the 
existing space between your rad and fan to be sure you get the proper drive 
for your application.

Turns out, I had the wrong one (too short)  on the F before replacing it.
