Re: [Chrysler300] HELP.......again

Interesting - some time ago I had a question concerning the casting numbers
on a set of heat elbows I had, one piece of which was longer than the
other. I asked Galen about the casting numbers, as he had written a booklet
on casting numbers, including the ram manifolds, etc. His reply was that he
really didn't know much about ram cars or 300's in general. Strikes me
that for a guy who is supposed to be the ultimate expert on documentation and
authentication, there are a lot of things that he "really doesn't know
much about."

I purchased that book also and found a LOT of discrepancies. I questioned
Galen in person at one of the Mopar Muscle events and he said he "really
didn't know a lot about the C bodies". He then invited me to correct what
I
thought was wrong and to forward my corrections to him. I never took him
up
on his invitation however.

I know for a fact there were quite a few 413 3-speed manual 62 300 Sport
coupes, but I don't know about the converts. I have a 62 3 speed convert
with A/C, but it is a 383.
