Hello 300'ly to all! Just finished chatting with Larry Krauck, the on site manager for '57 Heaven. The auction is over. Total sales of everything came to about $7 million roughly. The majority of vehicles went between $100K- $160K. The 2 least expensive cars were the unrestored New Yorker and DeSoto wagons that each went for $25K. He wasn't sure of the selling price of the C convertible. The venue was that the collection remained in the museum with a camera person transmitting images to a packed theatre upstairs! Most folks there were present to buy the car of their dreams and getting it road worthy and driving it. A fellow came from Italy to bid on the Dual Ghia who owns four of them already. What a fabulous event to have been a fly on the ceiling!
