We have quite a few gas stations here in northern Wisconsin that sell ethanol-free gasoline. Most are independent, non-big name companies. Some bigger names like Marathon sometimes carry a mid-grade gasoline that is ethanol free. Here the prices for ethanol-free gas are about the same as 10% ethanol gas. As Keith said, ethanol gas sitting around for a few months (sometimes even with a stabilizer) can lead to much trouble. Since there are lots of boats, ATV's, and snowmobilers around here there is plenty of demand for non-ethanol gas. But you gotta hate today's fuels. The ethanol has made a mess of things in every single gasoline engine that sees only occasional use - cars, boats, snowblowers, lawn mowers, chain saws, summer and winter toys, etc. Experts now advise not to park anything for more than 3 months without stabilizer (I prefer Sea Foam). A friend of mine solves the problem (expensively) by using only 110 octane racing fuel. They can't let you pump it directly into a street car, so he loads up a bunch of 5 gallon cans. Must be much smarter people than me who've figured out it makes sense to take food and turn it into fuel. And the icing is that it's also such a pain in the butt. Sorry about the rant.
