Happy New Year to All; My college age son has decided to rid himself of his 4 cylinder, recycled beer can econobox and drive around in a old classic. I am looking for something that runs and drives well right now, and we can play around and tweak it up as time goes on. I found a 1969 300 4 door Hardtop in really decent shape. No post, it's a CM43. It's fairly low optioned, with A/C, and power steering but no power brakes. Crank windows, manual seat, it's really a cool looking car. Quick question. The VIN says it's a "K" code motor. I'm not familiar with the '69 codes. Can someone tell me what that would be? I'm thinking it's a 383/4-bbl but I could be wrong. Can someone tell me this engine? Thanks and best regards, Ian Carlton 1966 Chrysler 300 Convertible 1979 New Yorker 5th Ave 1966 Plymouth Barracuda [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/Yahoo!
