Re: The Gilmore

Judy and I haven't done much "Car Show"ing in recent years, but this
Gilmore show is one we have our heart set on being at. We haven't even
let our horsepower out of the barn in a few years - too many issues
needed to increase its presentability (and dependability).

The front clip of our C is off now, the engine and transmission are
hanging from a cherry picker, and we've got 'er dang near stripped down
to a short block. We'll build it all back with fresh stuff - and a
fresh look - under the hood, take care of a little holey work in the
quarters, and hope to be burning rubber again by May.

I'm getting a ton of help with both parts and expertise from several
club members. Thanks a bunch to all. We hope to see a lot of you in
Hickory Corners on 9.12.10.
