Having trouble with starting newly rebuilt engine. On first crank, engine starts in one or two turns of the crank. Runs great. Once engine is warm, and engine is turned off, engine is very, very slow to turn over and won't start due to slow cranking. Battery is new and checks out fine. Battery has ground to intake manifold. Starter is rebuilt. Timing seems to be OK since car starts perfectly when engine is cold. Changed out coil and no difference. Car starts fine when cold but won't hardly turn over after engine is warm. Suggestions? The only thing we can come up with is maybe the starter is bad. It has been rebuilt twice, but maybe it still is not right. Your thoughts? Thank you.
