Hello All, New member, old 300 guy. Need some advice. Replacing freeze plugs on a 300 E ( engine is in the car ), have removed them all except for the one behind the starter. The issue is there is very limited room to get a wrench on the bolts with interference from the torsion bar and the exhaust head pipe. The 1958 shop manual and 59 supplement are not much help, the '58 manual states, "Disconnect battery cable from battery. Raise car and disconnect bable and solenoid lead wire from solenoid switch. Remove starter attaching bolts and remove starter assembly", '59 supplement does not address R & R. My question is how do I gain access to these bolts in order to remove them? Thanks for your response and help, luke rutkowski [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to: Chrysler300-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/Yahoo!
