Hello Club! I just finished regapping my Splitfire 8E spark plugs. They burn light brown with no fouling. Also, they are 18 years old! Question, should they be replaced with a ribbed porcelain plug? The eng. is 4bbl and it seems to run fine when temps of day and engine are up. On cooler days and it seems to be less of a go getter. Champion lists RJ14Y as close to original. Is there a premium plug that can be used? thanks, Dave D.
