There is a horizontal machined pad just to the right of the distributor. On it I would expect to see two sets of numbers. A month and year for non Ram and M/D/Y for Ram engine. The other is a # indicating engine CID in the following way for a K. V41=413 for non Ram and C300K for Ram engine. The non Ram engine would also have an HP stamp. If it is not the original engine and has been replaced with a standard production it will still be stamped with CID in the following format. 41=413, 42=426, or 44=440. I don't know how a crate engine would be stamped. Reference is Standard Catalog of Chrysler.
