OEM headlights for the 57 quads were GE's with GE script in a 5/8" circle right in the center. Reference Wayne Graefen's resto guide for the 57C. These can still be found in flea markets or ebay. The hardest to find are the outboard low/hi beams as they were always the quickest to burn out. I thought they were, and I could benefit from having a pair of new ones - or advice on restoring the paint on the old ones. Anyone know a source? 2) What would be an appropriate set of headlamps to use for 1957? What brand may have been used on the production line? I've seen some quads with pretty fine lines in the lens, and some with a little courser look. Are there newer bulb designs that would be better than the originals for brightness or pattern?
