On my 1962 New Yorker Wagon (though same as would be on our 300).... Current Ballast Resistor Readings: 14.2 on one side, and with the car at idle...11.5 on the other side Newly Installed 0.8 Ohm Ballast Resistor Readings: 14.2 on one side, and with the car at idle...12.1 on the other side (And started to smoke!) I installed the old one. What is wrong here?
