Sounds like a classic U-Joint about to fail symptom to me. Jack it up, put it on stands and crawl under it. Grasp each half of a U-joint in each hand and see if there is play in them. I also experience a similar effect when parked at idle with my foot on the brake pedal and then shift to either reverse or drive, The "clunk" when engaging drive or reverse has always been there but has gotten much worse. Drive shaft problem or something else? Doug Warrener Fair Oaks, CA 300H [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ======= Email scanned by PC Tools - No viruses or spyware found.
