Hi folks, I took the radiator from my J in to the local shop the other day for a recore and while there inquired about recoring the heater core. His price estimate for the heater recore was almost as much as the whole radiator recore will cost! I seem to remember that not too long ago recoring a heater core was fairly reasonable. So I did a quick check on the Internet for a new one and see that a core for the non A/C cars is listed but I can't find anything for a 413 A/C car. Has anyone found a new heater core lately for an A/C car? I'm not sure if the 413s with A/C all used the same size. Or is a recore of the old heater core the only option these days? Mine isn't leaking yet but I wanted to be proactive. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks! Carl Bilter Cedar Rapids, IA heat index at 110 today - just like Florida except oil-free.
