Re: [Chrysler300] incorrect presentations

The mis-listing is like the 300-L convertible I saw recently on a Connecticut
Craigslist listing.
Here's an unedited "update" from the seller:

-----------------------------

John,

The white Chrysler 330 convertible belonged to my Stepfather, and now I
know why he hung on to it (besides the fact that he loved ragtops). It is
actually a 1965 300L, the last year of the Letter Series, and they only
made 440 of the convertibles.

------------------------------

The seller had it listed as a 1966 300 convertible. The pics were clearly of a
300-L slowly rotting away. Here's the original ad:

300ly,
John Spiers

Hey all, Have you noticed that in the e-bay scheme of things it seems chrysler
300's have many sellers presenting their cars incorrectly. There are two on
e-bay today a 64 300 presented as a 63 pacecar, although the seller did correct
the year, when informed, & the engine was changed from a 413 to the 383 that was
in it. Also a 62 300, that has a G with a question mark after it. Seems many
300s, like our friend selling a blue 64 300 who insists it's called a K, come up
with bad info. Are these misinformed or ignorant or on prupose, to what end?
Don't see near as much of this when looking at other models & manufacturers. Mac
in informed Sanford, Fla.
