If I'm not mistaken, it came with an alternator ? I stood right beside it when I purchase my G in 1985 but don't remember.

Did I nopt read here some time ago that there was an underhood option 
for some chrome worked pieces ?
maybe air cleaners, carb linkage and some other small bits?
