My father has an all original 1960 DeSoto with 40,000 miles which he has owned since 1961. It has swivel seats that swing out when the door is opened. It was not available only on the Imperial.

  I believe automatic swivel seats (swing out automatically when the door is opened) were only available on Imperial models. I do have a 1960 Imperial 2 door that has this feature. My 300F does not.
