What good is a windshield if You don't have decent sheet metal to hang it on? I was lucky years ago and scored an NOS windshield from Vic Phillips for my A/C Parade Green C only to have to wait on the club 1/4 panel project which I supported by purchasing 2 pr of them. Now My F is in dire need of lower front 1/4's before I can get her repainted as well as a windshield. I can live with a few pits and chips in the glass for a while but dealing with rust out on door jambs and rockers is another matter altogether. Lower front 1/4's that would go about 1/2 way into the wheel arch, up as far as the moulding and forward into and including the door jamb joint should also fit G and H. IMHO, a project such as this should result in as many sales as the C-D-E 1/4 panel project did. I only wish I had the know how, wherewithall and contacts to make it happen. Count me in for 4 pr if and when it ever happens Dave Schwandt Dave Schwandt ----- Original Message ----- From: <retromobilia@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, September 22, 2010 6:22 PM Subject: Fwd: [Chrysler300] South American windshields > > > J D Jung > Retromobilia.net > > ----- Forwarded Message ----- > From: retromobilia@xxxxxxxxxxx > To: "Ron Waters" <ronbo97@xxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Wednesday, September 22, 2010 4:21:15 PM > Subject: Re: [Chrysler300] South American windshields > > > Someone once told me that over 90% of all Mercedes 300SL which were made > are still running and driving.
