Surprised to read some 62s didn't have seat belt anchors so I went to the garage. All of these cars have the anchors in the floor: 300 Sport Convertible, VIN 8223107653, build date: September 19, 1961. Red H, VIN 8423119873, build date: October 17 1961. White H, VIN 8423126072, build date: October 25, 1961. White H, VIN 8423129599, build date: Nov 8, 1961. Caramel H, VIN 8423189742, build date: March 06 1962. I don't have an explanation why there are original 62s without the anchors, but it doesn't look like it is an early versus late production date issue. In any case, if I had a 62 without seat belts, it would very soon have seat belts......
