WHY NOT???

Back in the 1970's. during a Milestone Car Society Grand National event 
the Saturday 'grand tour' was some laps around the Indianapolis Motor 
Speedway race course.  Three of us were lucky enough to hit some speeds, 
my 300C, a 55 c300 from Arizona and a Studebaker Avanti, we got to go a 
little over 100 mph over most of the 2-1/2 mile lap, swooping the 
corners and blasting some down the back stretch. This was a total blast 
and something my passengers remembered for a long time.
I Still have the dash plaque from that event, my first 'collector' car 
event as a participant and not a spectator.
