Re: [Chrysler300] Need Steering Wheel for '64 Chrysler

I don't know about Newports and New Yorkers, but the K can have 2 different wheels - a round one for a tilt column and a "square" one for non-tilt. They're not interchangeable.

Hi Ron,
Does the steering wheel need to be in good shape ie not cracked and will a
64 NYer wheel fit?
am asking because I have a '64 NYer salon parts car, however it has high
iles and has been sitting outside a long time
o the wheel is probably not in good shape.
If you can't find anything else I will look it up in Hollanders just to
ake sure a Nyer wheel will fit.
I also have a '"63 Nyer and '63 Newport parts car but don't know if they
re the same.

Hello, everyone:

I sent the steering wheel from my '64 Newport to Dennis Crooks for
restoration.
He needs to make a mold but can't use mine as it is bent. Does anyone have a
spare wheel that he can use to make the mold. He will return it when he is
finished. Thanks.

Best regards,
