Be certain to check the hose to the brake booster, check the booster itself for leakage either through the diaphragm or the hose connection, or as in some cases an extra nipple that should be capped. ---------------marshall in sunny, but cooooooold Florida ---------- Original Message ---------- From: Dave Dumais <daveskstick@xxxxxxxxx> To: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [Chrysler300] intake leak? Date: Wed, 29 Dec 2010 08:11:10 -0800 (PST) The 413 idles with screw backed off from linkage. I did replace the valley pan, but can't hear any leaks. My Brother suggested to spray ether around intake to head, and base of carb and listen for increase in idle rpm. I will check hoses for cracks and leaks. Any other ideas? thanks, 300K-ly Dave [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ____________________________________________________________ Get Free Email with Video Mail & Video Chat! http://www.juno.com/freeemail?refcd=JUTAGOUT1FREM0210 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to bob@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or go to http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/Chrysler300/join and select the "Leave Group" button For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylangYahoo!
