Re: [Chrysler300] starter motor parts

Another source for a replacement 392 starter is at hothemiheads.com. The link may come through-

http://hothemiheads.com/transmission_adapters/starter_replacement.html

My C had issues with very slow starter cranking when hot. Over time everything was checked and replaced/rebuilt with no success. I installed this new style starter 4 years ago. It really works. Hard to believe something 1/3 the size and weighing 20 pounds less can turn like that.

Hello

Rockauto.com has the solenoid. I bought mine there, when I rebuild my startmotor.
But why don't you go for the new hi torq. starter. Its cheep, and more powerfull. I sure will go for it next time. http://www.x-parts.se/ Sorry, just in Swedish.

For a 300C starter motor I 'm looking for the rubber insulator which is on the housing. The terminal that goes from the solenoid to the field coils is going through this insulator.
It seems not available anywhere , even in Gary Goers catalog, any suggestion is welcome.
Also does anyone know a source for starter motor parts like solenoid, armature, bushings, drive ?
My starter motor is tired and I'd like to rebuild it.
Thanks.
