Dave, Could be a vacuum leak. Larry ________________________________ From: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx on behalf of Dave Dumais Sent: Sat 3/5/2011 6:42 PM To: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [Chrysler300] Petronix Ques. Guys, I guess this should be referred to John. The red lead is positive, and the black lead is negative for the coil connection. In this case, the leads were reversed on the coil, motor (413) was cranked ,but no fire. Then after reversing (or correcting) the leads, motor fired and ran as usual. The problem now, is the motor surges (as if starved for fuel) After extensive checkingand readjusting, the only thing remains is a float and metering rod check. Could the Ignition unit be damaged? making me more of a nut. thanks..............300K-ly Dave.
