Travis.  My opinion is since it's an actual letter car, put it back to the original color.  Just my 2 cents worth, but I'm more original/survivor kinda guy.  
Bottom line is: it's your car, and you're the one that needs to be happy with it.  Do it how your heart leads you......

Travis.......If you decide to make a color change, please do yourself a 
tremendous favor by getting a 1961 Chrysler color chip selector and make a 
color choice from this selection. You will be glad you did......take this 
advice from a former owner of a original white 300C to regimental
