Hello, everyone: I just found a Mopar electronic ignition coversion kit (P3690427) in my parts inventory that I bought some 15 or so years ago. The ECU (P4120505)is orange, and recall through past club e-mails this ECU is not very good, but there was also a white one that was better. Is this an accurate recollection? Also, it's for a 361, 383 and 400 engine. The earliest C body listed in the instructions is a 1976. Will this ignition system work on a 1964 C body with a B block that originally came with a single-point distributor? Or should I use a Pertronix "Ignitor" 1382? Any suggestions/recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
