George again, seeing Chris’s post about the 57 Arm Rest bases prompted me to get in on this. I can see no problem at all making them if someone had a really nice ( not warped ) pair to send me for the job. Rather than making them mostly hollow as Chrysler did ( no dought to save weight and money ) I would look at making them solid for super strength, colour in the resin of course not painted. My resin is strong and not that heavy, so solid arm rest bases should not lower the 392 Fuel mileage ( HA ) But the big trick is having a good straight pair to work with, anyone? George.
