Re: [Chrysler300] Norm Thatcher - Bonneville 300D (& Intro)

Josh...Josh....could this be the grandson of Jim Golden in KS? If so, the Thatcher car is in loving hands from a long background of Letterness. Josh Mishler?

Hello Warren,

Thank you for your reply. I have attempted to trace ancestry of Norm and
is 2 top mechanics. The first mechanic was a Mr. Norm Sthiles. I was able
o get into contact with a family member in Nevada, however Mr. Sthiles died
ast June. I also dug for information on Bill LaRoy. He was the main guy
oing hands on work on this car and on later Norm Thatcher cars. I finally
iscovered his brother's widow, who put me in contact with her son. Sadly
ill passed away a few years ago as well. As of yet the families haven't
een able to contribute and information. but I am still trying.

Norm Thatcher's family is next. I did some basic searches, but nothing
olid yet. It was easier to track the other families due to the more
istinct names. I have spent a ton of hours on the phone so far but I think
t will pay off in the end. Even confirming their passing is at least a
tart. I have found a reference to Norm by a Sherwood K, but even with the
lub directory he is proving hard to get a hold of. I am hoping maybe
omeone else who lived in California during this time knows something about
ll this.

I think the more lures I cast out the better my chances, which is why I
ave posted this on 3 different forums, the mailing list and have sent out
ailers.

  Thanks again Warren!

Rich had mentioned finding a link on the HAMB forum. Here is a link to
he thread I started on the HAMB forum about a week or two ago:

If anyone has any info, please don't hesitate!!!!!!!

  THANKS!

  Josh
