The product I know that Jim M. refers to is either "whip it dip it." It is a liquid, viscous vinyl that is used in the marine industry for sealing rope ends (whip it) or electrical wire terminals and connections (dip it). As Jim says, a simple dunk or two into the can, or a coating using a glue brush will set up and conform to the shape of the metal you are putting it on. Enough coats will result in a grommet like effect that will hold the wire without abrading it. The product I know is from Star-Brite--Sta 84904. It should cost $9 or $10 and will likely do a fleet of 300 spark plug wire holders. It is available at Marine suppliers, and likely other places as well. 300 L ly, Doug Doug Mayer Northport, Maine ------------------------------------ To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to bob@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or go to http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/Chrysler300/join and select the "Leave Group" button For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylangYahoo!
