It seems that your objective can be attained with the use of an appropriate oil pump shaft and a Hand drill. Remove the distributor, insert the shaft to the gear in the oil pump and rotate the shaft using the drill. MOPAR performance (or Summit) will sell you the shaft for about $5.00.
