I have a Carter AFB for the K apart, non ram. A quick and dirty estimate of one bowl chamber is 9.72 cubic inches. (160 cc). The G carb is smaller but I'd bet the float chambers are the same as the K. I'd guess actual volume is much less since a fella has to subtract off the volume of the float. Yes, my mustard bottle that I use for prime is too big for the vent holes so what I miss down the vent acts as prime in the manifold. By the way, you can prime WCFB's this same way, see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjOCztCh-Dk&feature=related about 50 seconds into it. Hi ho Soon to the Lake D'George!
