Mine is a January car. The insert has it's fair share of nicks and gouges and has a milky appearance. But, when you get it in the right light, to my eye it looks similar to the dash where the circles aren't very noticeable but still has a pattern to it. Maybe they need to be inspected under some high magnification. ________________________________ From: "therichardsonfamily@xxxxxxxxxxx" <therichardsonfamily@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: Bob Merritt <bob@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Cc: Chrysler 300 List <Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>; Mike C. <commcar@xxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, October 28, 2011 2:25 PM Subject: Re: [Chrysler300]300L console pattern For what it's worth..... ...the tail panel and dash both have the circular swirl marks on my early built L - I'm pretty sure the console is in a straight (front to back) brushed pattern. (can't view it right now) Also, the two spare consoles I have are NOT circular swirls, they are the straight brushed pattern. I am interested in a reasonable solution to fixing up the console pattern, if possible. I'll photo and post when I get a chance. Hi ho oh no here we go again. R On 10/27/2011 4:19 PM, Mike C. wrote: > > What should the finish be on the console insert?
