Here's what worked for me, the club always said Plasticote  gold was correct but it looked too gold to me so I clear coated it and that looked like the old pictures in Mechanix Illustrated and others plus it much more durable.

Is there a good reference that shows what parts of the engine are to be
painted a certain color and the color specs of each?  I am interested
particularly in the 354 hemi engine for the 300B.  I believe the air
cleaner and valve covers are painted gold, but not sure the correct shade
and if it is glossy, semi-gloss or satin.  The spark plug wire routing
pieces were black I think?  How about the intake manifold (I have pictures
of cars with gold and others silver)?

Etc.

Any help would be appreciated.
