The Atlas plug ends are the obtuse #3 wire, and also the same obtuse angle for #1 wire; the #5 wire end is straight, with no bend. I don't recall the #8 wire, as it's on the F now. I haven't installed the Lectric wires yet. The #3 wire is indeed bent at an obtuse angle. Lectric makes up the wires to order, and had them ready for me in 2 days. My car is a 1960 not a 1961. It is the same model (300F) as Noel Hastie's. It does not, to my knowledge, have a date code on the wires. You told me it should not have at the time. I remember sending you a wire but I just don't quite understand why a Packard wire reproduced for the same car----1960 Chrysler 300F----should be different in 2011 than it was in circa 2005. It still seems like one is wrong, no matter what. If the wire I sent at the time was wrong, I would not have wanted it copied. If the current thinking is that the 1960 Chrysler Packard wires should be as sent to Noel, with the "GM" (I see they became part of GM in 1932!) then so be it.
