Thought while discussing batteries some might find this technical overview of batteries of interest. I happen to have one of the mentioned JC Penny Batteries in our 71 Corvette.. It is about due for its 7th or so replacement. The warranty is still honored by Firestone Stores,,,,there is an error in the following URL where it is said that Penny's will refund your money to get out of the warranty. The batteries will still be replaced as long as you are the original purchaser of the battery...I just called a local Firestone Store on this, but now they say I must pay for a battery and submit the invoice to Penny's for compensation. Not quite sure how this will happen and could be a real pain,,,no one wants to make it easier, I suspect. http://www.econofix.com/battery.html Roger Schaaf 300 B Calyfornua ------------------------------------ To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to bob@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or go to http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/Chrysler300/join and select the "Leave Group" button For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylangYahoo!
