Re: [Chrysler300] radio alternate

Yes, I agree. I've been using my Sirius for several years. I bought a "ghetto blaster" unit that the head slips onto, and I run it from my back seat. Power comes from my rear seat cigarette lighter outlet. No cutting, no adding speakers, and it plays on the back seat of any car, and on the back porch, too. The unit also has remote control so Cheryl can operate it from the front seat.

een some threading about repairing our ancient sound catchers.....I have
evised an alternate scheme that works swell.
eave your ancient am in place for its retirement years. Buy a Sirius/XM
eceiver on ebay for next to nothing. Skypilot is old stuff but sure cheap.
everal hundred music channels at your beck and call and they follow you all
cross the USA on way to meets.. A motorcycle amp fits under your console
ompletely out of sight if you have a console. The volume control is also
iniaturized and allows you to switch to your am radio with the same speakers
or both.. The attachment for the mounting bay rests inside the ashtray and is
onderfully powerful at tiny cost. Put two Pioneer three way 6 x 9's in your
ront and rear speaker locations. All that stuff, other than speakers, comes
ut easily for shows and no one knows.
ut wait, there is more! You can detach the readout/selection button holder and
se it in your house or other cars. I have but one Sirius/XM unit but can use
t in two rooms of the house or in the 48,63,66 Chryslers or the 03 Cadillac.
he sound of the 50's radio is so good I can hear new parts in songs I have
eard hundreds or thousands of times. It is clearer than that in the Cadillac
ith its many extra speakers.
lanning on doing a white paper later when I learn how to put photos inside the
ext.
