I think they, glove box and trunk,  were  keyed alike.

Most cars had a separate lock for the Glovebox for security reasons. 
A parking attendant couldn't open the Glovebox with the Ign.  key and if he
had a need for the  trunk key, he still wouldn't have access to the
Glovebox.
I think this was across all makes back in the day...
