Re: [Chrysler300] What is the preferred Classic Car Insurance in the Club?

Hey Guys, it's important to know that an agreed amount policy is very different ( and preferable ) to a stated amount policy. The agreed policy is what the insurer agrees to pay in the event if a total loss. The stated amount policy means the insurer will pay "up to" the amount stated in the event of a total loss. Example; your car has a stated amount of $50k and the insurer decides it's only worth $30k then they're going to pay $30k. If they determine it's worth $75k and you forgot to adjust the value of your policy then they'll still pay $50k.

On a side note I've had two collector car collision claims in my shop and they were both with Hagerty and they were a pleasure to deal with. On another side note if you've got Geico on any of your daily drivers switch to any other company... ASAP.
