Larry, There is an after market rubber lip seal that replaces the rope type. I used it when my 57 Imp. motor was rebuilt. I don't know the success installing with the crank in. A small but constant leak from the rear of the pan, down the front of the bell housing and drip, drip to the floor. Looking straight up to it shows a rope like gasket that is wet all the time. Is this fixable by dropping the pan, replacing gaskets? or can there be an issue about rear main seal? jettlarry@xxxxxxx Larry Jett 510-794 7911 Newark CA [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ To send a message to this group, send an email to: Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to bob@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or go to http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/Chrysler300/join and select the "Leave Group" button For list server instructions, go to http://www.chrysler300club.com/yahoolist/inst.htm For archives go to http://www.forwardlook.net/300-archive/search.htm#querylangYahoo!
